Miley meets make a wish kids in Quito, Ecuador
April 2011 Los Angeles: Teen idol Miley Cyrus granted wishes through the Make-A-Wish Foundation® to some of her biggest fans, 14 children with life-threatening medical conditions, in celebration of the upcoming "World Wish Day" on Friday, April 29.
The eager group of wish kids were chauffeured in limos and flown "in style" across the United States and Austria to "Tinsel-town" to meet with the acclaimed singer and actress who begins her Gypsy Heart concert tour on World Wish Day in Quito, Ecuador.

The Make-A-Wish- Foundation's® second-annual World Wish Day (Friday, April 29, 2011) is a campaign that honors the day that sparked a global wish-granting movement.
On World Wish Day, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® will honor the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions in 41 countries it serves.
Wishing...to Meet Miley!
Miley's energized fans, along with supportive family members, assembled to enjoy lunch and a cosmetic make-up session in anticipation of a "close-up" with their favorite entertainer. Miley afforded each of her young fans a one-on-one meeting and photo-op where kids sang their favorite Cyrus songs, presented scrapbooks and delivered hand-made gifts to Miley.
