MUSLIM IMAMS KICKED OFF PLANE ....AGAIN (VIDEO)

This story disturbs me so much. Any form of discrimination is not ok. Two Muslim Imams ( an Islamic leader position, often the worship  leader of a mosque and the Muslim community) was kicked off their flight...Check It

Memphis Imams Masudur Rahman (a professor at the University of Memphis) and Mohamed Zaghloul (North American Imam Federation) boarded a DELTA flight Friday morning when they were told the pilot wouldn't fly with them aboard. They were going to Charlotte to attend a conference intended to "address prejudice against Muslims."

In 2006, 6 Imams from the same federation was also kicked off their flight while heading to the SAME conference in Minneapolis. What is going on here? Those Imams eventually settled a discrimination lawsuit with US Airways.

According to the two Memphis Imams, they had been screened TWICE at the airport before boarding the flight. The plane was taxiing on the runway when the pilot turned the plane around; both men were screened for a THIRD time after being removed.

After that security check, he said a Delta employee at the gate informed him that the pilot of the flight would not allow him on board. He says the employees in the airport were very apologetic—even angry—and said they tried repeatedly to convince the pilot that he was wrong.
Rahman said he was even told that the gate agents asked the passengers if they felt uncomfortable about the two Muslim men, and reported back to the pilot that the people on board the plane were not concerned.
TSA tried to get the men back on but the pilot REFUSED. The airline eventually put the men on another flight. The Imams landed in Charlotte with their lawyer there waiting for them.

This hurts my heart in so many ways. Is this what we Americans have become...AGAIN? Rahman compared his incident to Rosa Parks. Why do we Americans preach freedom and equality yet still treat people of different religions and race like they are nothing important? I understand the whole nervousness after the killing of Osama Bin Laden but these men were screened THREE times, twice before they boarded and one after. What do you want from them? F.Y.I. to the pilot who REFUSED to fly with them on, the 9/11 hijackers wore business attire. I highly doubt a terrorist would get on a plan in their traditional Muslim clothes and expect to carry out a terrorist attack successfully.

A couple of weeks ago I watched Unwelcome: The Muslims Next Door on CNN. Ironically the story was about a Muslim community in TENNESSEE who purchased land to build a Mosque but the non Muslim community didn't want it. Even bringing lawsuits to halt the construction. I say all of this to say, who are we to tell other leaders how to treat their people when we ourselves discriminate against the very same people?

NOT every Muslim is a terrorist. NOT every black man is  a thief.  NOT every white man is racist.

What Do You Think?
